The MorningStar Protocol


The MorningStar protocol is designed to harness the transformative power of psilocybin, aiding in habit formation, addiction cessation, emotional and mood stabilization, and enhancement of creativity and problem-solving abilities. This innovative protocol synergizes macrodosing and microdosing phases, integrating them with holistic health practices to create a comprehensive approach to personal development and well-being.
The idea that 28 days is the number of days it takes to develop a new habit is based on self-help culture fiction. According to a 2009 study, it can take between 78 and 254 days for a person to form a new habit. On average, it takes 66 days for a new behavior to become automatic. We suggest implementing the MorningStar protocol for at least two months or cycles.

Do not drink alcohol or take any non-prescription drugs that could have a negative effect.

 

Think of it like this: you're utilizing psychedelics like psilocybin mushrooms and other psychedelics to activate and heal your brain. When you take alcohol, it deactivates your brain, and it's technically a poison. It's like taking uppers and downers simultaneously, and you will get no healing from this combination.


Please read the entire protocol and the course before starting, and consult with a qualified healthcare provider or specialist before starting.


Protocol Structure:

 

  1. Microdosing testing is going to be critical for the start of the protocol. Once you want to test your reaction to the Psychedelic of choice, the potency may be different from strain to strain. You will start the protocol on one of your days off and want to take 0.1g- 0.3g. I chose a more potent strain of mushroom that only took 0.1g. After your first microdose day of testing, you will take two days off, then on the 4th day, do another round of testing. If you feel it is a perfect amount for yourself, stick with it. This will be what you use throughout the protocol. If you feel it was not enough or too much, adjust accordingly. The point of microdosing is to be sub-perceptual / non-noticeable.​

  2. ​​Initiation with Macrodosing: We do a macro dosing stage to increase the brain's neuroplasticity, which helps form new habits faster with a Macrodose of psilocybin, chosen according to individual tolerance and experience level. This initial dose aims to catalyze profound introspective insights and set the foundation for the subsequent microdosing phase. This session should be conducted in a safe, controlled environment, with a guide or sitter present. Macro dosing has been shown in studies to increase neuroplasticity, and this is why, at the beginning of the protocol, you want to implement this step. Do note that if you are not mentally or emotionally ready for this, skip the macro dosing stage and consult with a qualified healthcare provider or specialist. If you are prone to bipolar, schizophrenic, or other mental ailments, take medication like antidepressants or SSRIs and consult with your physician.

  3. Integration and Rest: After the macrodose, take a 1-day break. This period allows for integrating experiences and insights gained during the macrodose session. It's a time for rest, reflection, and preparation for the microdosing phase.

  4. Microdosing Maintenance Stage: Following the break, commence a microdosing regimen, taking 0.1g to 0.3g of psilocybin for three consecutive days. This phase aims to maintain and enhance the insights and shifts initiated by the macrodose, supporting gradual transformation in daily life.

  5. Regular Intervals and Breaks: After three days of microdosing, take a two-day break to allow the body and mind to process and integrate the subtle influences of psilocybin. Continue this cycle for one month/four weeks, then take a one—to two–week break, allowing the mind and body to acclimate to the changes and assess the need for further cycles.

  6. After you take your 1–2 week break and feel ready, restart the protocol at the macro dosing stage. Again, if you are not ready for the macro-dosing or feel like you don't need it, just start with the micro-dosing portion of the protocol.

  7. After you finish the second month of the Morningstar protocol, you can start tapering back the number of days you microdosed and increasing the number of non-dosing days.


The point is to get where you feel and function more efficiently and can taper off to zero. The goal is to zero utilization of any substance.


If you are utilizing the protocol to stop an addiction and on your off those days and you are having withdrawals from that other substance. You can implement another microdose to take the edge off that day but do not keep doing this continuously. Again, 0 utilization of any substance is the goal.


Holistic Support Regimen:


The MorningStar protocol emphasizes the importance of a supportive regimen that includes quality vitamins, minerals, amino acids, omega-3 fatty acids, and nootropics. This nutritional foundation is crucial for optimizing brain function and supporting the body’s adaptation to the changes induced by psilocybin.


Exercise and Lifestyle Integration:


A regular exercise regimen is an integral part of the MorningStar protocol. Physical activity enhances the body’s resilience and promotes neurogenesis and emotional well-being, synergizing with psilocybin. Participants are encouraged to engage in activities that resonate with them, whether it’s yoga, running, weight training, or other forms of movement, to promote a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

The MorningStar protocol is grounded in the belief that psychedelics are a tool, not a solution. The goal is to use psilocybin as a catalyst for self-improvement and personal elevation, aiding in the development of new habits and the cessation of undesirable ones.
